Vida Recetas Editorial
The margarita cocktail is one of the most iconic drinks in international mixology, and its main ingredient, tequila, makes it a drink full of character. In this easy and refreshing version, we combine tequila with Cointreau, lemon juice, and a splash of Sprite, achieving a perfect balance between sweet, sour, and citrus. Ideal for beginners in mixology, this recipe requires no complicated techniques: just rim the glass with salt, mix the ingredients, and serve over crushed ice. The result is an elegant and festive drink, perfect for celebrations or for enjoying on a warm afternoon. If you are a tequila lover, this margarita will win you over with its simplicity and vibrant flavor. Plus, being a quick preparation, you can impress your guests without spending hours in the kitchen. There are many variations, but this version with Sprite gives it a bubbly touch that makes it unique. Go ahead and make it, and toast in style!

We started by frosting the glass, wetting the rim with half a lemon and passing it through a plate with salt. We have to be very careful because we don't want salt left in the inside of the glass (so it doesn't fall into the cocktail!) or that an edge is too thick. I'm still refining it. Let it sit in the fridge for about 5 minutes.

Then we are going to add tequila, Cointreau, lemon juice (if it can be natural) and soda (which if you feel very excited can be optional) to the glass, and stir well.

Fill the glass with crushed ice, decorate with a slice of lemon and enjoy

P.S.: Since I'm still learning how to frost, I get a very thick salt border. If it happens to you like me, I recommend that you frost the glass and then remove the salt a little, so that the salty flavor is impregnated on the rim, but it doesn't bother you
