  • 400g tagliatelle
  • 300g ground meat (beef and pork)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 400g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 glass of red wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped carrots, and celery. Cook until the vegetables become tender.

  • Add the ground meat and cook until it's well-browned and crumbled.
  • Step 3
  • Pour the red wine into the pot and let the alcohol evaporate.

  • Add the canned crushed tomatoes and mix well. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for at least 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • In the meantime, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tagliatelle according to the package instructions.

  • Drain the tagliatelle al dente and add them to the Bolognese sauce. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the pasta to absorb the sauce.
