Ingredients
300g ground pork
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp ginger, minced
1/2 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 cup chicken or pork broth

Instructions:
Step 1
Combine flour, cold water, and hot water. Knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let rest for 30 mins.
Step 2
Mix ground pork with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and white pepper.
Step 3
Roll the dough into a log and cut it into small pieces. Roll each into a thin wrapper.
Step 4
Place a spoonful of filling in each wrapper. Seal and pleat to form dumplings.
Step 5
Place dumplings in a steamer lined with cabbage leaves. Steam for 20 mins.
Step 6
Serve hot with dipping sauce made from soy sauce and broth. Enjoy your Xiaolongbao!
