2 cups of granulated sugar
1 cup of water
1 cup of grated coconut
1 cup of cassava flour (farinha de mandioca)
1/2 cup of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Instructions:
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and let it simmer until it forms a thick syrup.
Step 2
Add the grated coconut and butter, stirring until well combined.
Step 3
Stir in the cassava flour and vanilla extract, continuing to cook until the mixture thickens and starts to pull away from the sides of the pan.
Step 4
Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
Step 5
Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet to cool completely.
