Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups of oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup of wholemeal flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 7 stevia sachets
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
  • lemon zest
  • 2 eggs

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Preheat the oven to 250ºC
  • Step 2
  • Mix the flours, baking powders and sugar or stevia.
  • Step 3
  • Add the oil and stir with your hands until you get a sandblasting.
  • Step 4
  • Add an egg and start integrating the ingredients, you don't have to knead, just put them together. You can add some milk in case it doesn't come together well.

  • Whisk the remaining egg.
  • Step 6
  • Flour the counter and stretch the dough with a kitchen stick.

  • Paint half of the dough with a little egg and fold it so that the inner sides stick together with the egg.
  • Step 8
  • With a dough cutter, or a knife, you shape the scones.
  • Step 9
  • Place the scones on a baking sheet.
  • Step 10
  • Bake for 25 to 35 minutes at 200º C.
