Instructions:
Step 1
First we are going to make a basic syrup, to do this, put the water and sugar in a saucepan, let it cook for about 3-5 minutes until the sugar has completely melted.
Step 2
Add the red fruits, they can be fresh or frozen and cook for another 5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly. Add the orange juice and grind with a blender.
Step 3
We pass the mixture through a sieve, remove the seeds and we are left with only the pulp.
Step 4
Freeze in a bowl, and to make it more “creamy” we beat it in batches: For the first 2 hours we take it out of the freezer every 30 minutes and beat with a mixer.
Step 5
We leave it in the freezer for at least 5-6 hours. Now we can serve our sorbet, with the help of an ice cream spoon soaked in hot water.
