Instructions:
Step 1
Prepare the Cuban stir fry: place in a saucepan, preheated with oil, the onion and the chili pepper (all chopped into small cubes). Then add the garlic and let it cook for a few minutes over low heat.
Step 2
Add the potatoes and carrots cut into small cubes. Add salt and pepper.
Step 3
Add the ground beef and mix all the ingredients well and add another little salt. Cook for a few minutes until the meat begins to change color, showing a different shade.
Step 4
Add the olives, tomato sauce, dry wine, raisins and sugar. Cover and let it cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
Step 5
Finally, add the capers and the leftover olive oil.
Step 6
If we notice that the mincemeat has dried up a little, we can add the juice of a sweet orange (in Cuba we add sour orange).
