  • Peels and seeds of a yellow papaya (those from La Serena, not the Brazilian ones)
  • Sweetener to taste
  • Bottled water.

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Peel the papaya and place the peels and seeds in a pot to boil. I left them for about 30 minutes approximately.
  • Step 2
  • After the cooking time, strain everything and reserve the cooking water and the cooked shells.
  • Step 3
  • Place the drained shells in the mini mixer and add some of the cooking juice. (I drained it so that I could remove the seeds)
  • Step 4
  • Process the cooked shells until there is a cream left.
  • Step 5
  • Add the shell paste to the cooking water, sweeten to taste and refill the jar with bottled water.
  • Step 6
  • Healthy, rich and also avoid creating unnecessary organic waste.
