  • 2 boneless ribeye steaks (8-10 ounces each)
  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Place a baking sheet in the oven to warm it up.
  • Step 2
  • In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread them in a single layer on the preheated baking sheet. Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the fries are golden and crispy, turning them occasionally.

  • While the fries are cooking, season the ribeye steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  • Heat a skillet over high heat until very hot. Add the steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust the time for your desired doneness).
