A traditional flatbread from Central Asia, Shelpek is commonly eaten throughout this region of the world. The main ingredients in this bread are flour and milk. Here are the ingredients and the steps to prepare
Sift the dry ingredients: flour and baking powder.

Dissolve sugar and salt in milk.

Mix the milk with the dry ingredients. - Knead for about 5 minutes. Let it rest for about 30 minutes in a covered bowl.

Roll out the dough, in the shape of a tube and cut it into 6 pieces.

cover the pieces with a kitchen towel or film.

Sprinkle the table with flour and start rolling out one of the doughs, it should be 1 millimeter thick. Repeat this process with the rest of the doughs. Make sure that the breads that are ready are also covered with film or a kitchen towel.
Step 7
When all the doughs are stretched, put plenty of oil in a pan, on a medium flame; when it is very hot add a shelpek and let it fry 45 seconds on each side. It should not be too golden or else it will become hard when it cools down.
