Ingredients

  • 1/2 sliced lactal bread.
  • 3 yolks.
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 gr. of green apples in cubes.
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
  • 80 gr. of sugar (40 gr. for the puree and 40 gr. for the tarantella).
  • 1 pinch of salt.
  • 350 ml. of milk.
  • 125 ml. of heavy cream.
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla.
  • 250 gr. of sugar.
  • 125 ml. of water.
  • 100 gr. of Dulce de Leche.

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Cut the apples into cubes and place them in a pot with the lemon juice and half the sugar until they are pureed.
  • Step 2
  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs, yolks and the rest of the sugar, add the applesauce and vanilla.
  • Step 3
  • Mix the milk and cream and add the bread in pieces without the edges. Moisturize well and integrate into the egg mixture.
  • Step 4
  • Bring the sugar and water to the fire to form a caramel.
  • Step 5
  • Form a rectangular mold with the caramel.
  • Step 6
  • Bake covered with aluminum foil in a water bath at 150 degrees for 35 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Allow to cool and unmold.
  • Step 8
  • Serve with Dulce de Leche.
