Ingredients

  • 500 g flour
  • 8 g baking powder
  • zest of a large orange, without the white part.
  • 50 g melted butter.
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 ml milk

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Mix all the ingredients, except for the milk, which you will add little by little until it reaches the consistency, you may use less than this amount.
  • Step 2
  • Stretch the dough with your hands on a table, for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Sprinkle a little flour and stretch the dough with a kitchen stick or bottle, making sure that its thickness is about 3 mm.
  • Step 4
  • Cut strips of approximately 5 cm, then divide the strips into 4 parts. On each piece of dough make a cut in the center. Fold one end of the rectangles and pull it through the middle cut through it.
  • Step 5
  • Fry in boiling oil for about 2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  • Step 6
  • Drain the broken panties onto a rack.
  • Step 7
  • Sprinkle them with floral or impalpable sugar and cinnamon.
