Wash the rice to remove the starch until the water turns white. (I really don't always do that)

In a pan/saucepan, put oil and garlic and brown it.
Step 3
Once the garlic is golden, add the rice and stir until the white one changes its tone, being careful not to burn.
Step 4
When the rice has changed color, add the water, I add two and a half cups for one of rice, salt and bay leaf.

IMPORTANT COOKING INFORMATION* I always check the cooking time on the package because it can vary from one type of rice to another. Once the time has elapsed, I remove the rice from the heat and with a clean cloth I cover the pan or saucepan where it has been cooked for a few minutes. The result is rice at its point, loose and delicious.
