Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pineapple, cubed
  • 2 cups of cucumber, julienned
  • 1 cup of jicama, julienned
  • 1 cup of turnip, julienned
  • 1 cup of firm tofu, cubed and fried
  • 1/2 cup of roasted peanuts
  • 2-3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • For the Shrimp Paste Sauce:
  • 3 tablespoons of shrimp paste (belacan)
  • 2 tablespoons of tamarind paste
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1-2 red chili peppers, chopped
