Ingredients

  • 20 puris (hollow, crispy balls)
  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup tamarind chutney
  • 1/2 cup mint-coriander chutney
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small cucumber, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Sev (crispy chickpea noodles) for garnish

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Make a hole in the center of each puri to create a hollow space for the fillings.
  • Step 2
  • Fill each puri with a small portion of mashed potatoes and boiled chickpeas.
  • Step 3
  • Add chopped onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes to each puri.
  • Step 4
  • Sprinkle green chilies, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt over the fillings.
  • Step 5
  • Drizzle tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney into each puri.
