  • 200 gr. of flour with baking powder
  • 1 tsp. instant dry yeast
  • 1 tsp. of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • 125 ml. of warm water
  • Sunflower oil
  • 115 gr. of peeled sausage divided into 16 parts app.

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar and combine the ingredients in the shape of a volcano. Pour the water into the center and gradually add the flour. Knead it well until you get a homogeneous dough.
  • Step 2
  • Pour the dough onto the countertop sprinkled with a little flour and bring it in for about 10 minutes, or until it is thin and elastic and does not stick to your hands. Shape it into a ball and place it in a clean bowl. Cover it with a clean, damp cloth and let it brew in a warm place for an hour, or until it doubles in volume.
  • Step 3
  • Grease the oven tray with oil.
  • Step 4
  • Pour the dough onto the countertop sprinkled with a little flour and knead it for 2 or 3 minutes to release the air.
  • Step 5
  • Divide it into 16 equal portions. Give them ball shapes and roll them out with a rolling pin until you get round ones of 12 cm in diameter.
  • Step 6
  • Place in the center of the dough a piece of sausage previously cut into small pieces, wrap them with the dough on the sides and pinch the ends to enclose the filling. Place the rolls, fold side down, on the greased tray.
  • Step 7
  • Bake them in the preheated oven at 200° C, for 20 minutes, until they brown a little. Turn them over and serve them in a platter or bread bin.
