Ingredients

  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 tsp of dry yeast
  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1/3 cup of melted unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp of Salt
  • 2 Eggs at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Mix the milk with the sugar and the yeast.
  • Step 2
  • Sift the flour and mix it with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Step 3
  • Pour in the milk mixture and knead with your hands for 10 minutes, it should acquire a soft and sticky consistency. Paint it with a little oil and cover it with film, let it rest for 90 minutes or until it doubles in size.

  • Once it doubles in size, cut the dough and divide it into 16 small balls
  • Step 5
  • Butter a baking sheet and place the 16 balls in parallel, let them rest for 45 minutes until they grow.

  • Preheat the oven to 180º

  • Paint the rolls with a mixture of an egg and a little milk. Then sprinkle with sugar or coconut powder.

  • Bake at 180 degrees for 12-16 minutes.

  • If you want, once out of the oven, you can paint the milk bread with warm honey.
