Put the egg, oil, brown sugar, orange zest and carrot in a bowl. Whisk with the mixer until integrated.

Then add the flour, baking powder and nuts and continue whisking until there are no lumps.

Butter the mold (I used an 18cm one) and pour in the preparation. Bake in a preheated oven at 150 degrees for 45-60 minutes, or until you insert a knife comes out clean and dry.

For the frosting, whisk the three ingredients until you get a smooth and firm cream.
Step 5
Once the carrot cake is cold, fill it up and cover it with the frosting.

Cool it well before cutting and serving it so that it holds up and that's it!! Let's enjoy it.
