Ingredients

  • dark chocolate 190 g
  • Milk chocolate 190
  • 250 butter
  • 7 eggs
  • 250 sugar
  • 190 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 240 g flour
  • 16 g baking powder
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 ml water
  • 300 g dark chocolate
  • 300 ml cream

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • In a bowl, place the chocolates with the butter and bring them to a water bath, stirring to integrate and form a mixture.
  • Step 2
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs, gradually adding the sugar, in the form of rain.
  • Step 3
  • Sift the flour with salt, cocoa powder and baking powder.
  • Step 4
  • Pour the cream and chocolate mixture over the eggs and whisk until combined
  • Step 5
  • Turn the mixture of dry ingredients over the eggs and chocolate, stir with a hand mixer to avoid the formation of lumps.
  • Step 6
  • In butter and cover a 24 cm diameter mold with a layer of cocoa, pour in the mixture and cover up to ¾ of the height of the mold. Bake at 180º for 20 minutes.

  • This mixture yields 3 24 cm biscuits, so this process is repeated 3 times.
  • Step 8
  • Let the biscuits cool. While preparing a syrup with water and sugar, which you can use to moisten the biscuits.
  • Step 9
  • Prepare the ganache, mixing the cream with the chocolate. Divide it in half, so that one part is used to join the biscuits and the other to cover the cake.
  • Step 10
  • Place the first disc, wet the upper part with a little of the syrup and on top place a layer of ganache, repeat this process until the last disc is placed.
  • Step 11
  • Cover the cake with the ganache, refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
