Origin and versatility

This homemade version allows you to control the ingredients and adapt it to your taste: you can add melted cheddar cheese, fresh vegetables, or sauces like mayonnaise or mustard.
Tips for a perfect burger
- Resting the mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes is key to letting the flavors blend and making the mixture easier to handle.
- If you prefer a finer texture, you can grind the chicken in a food processor instead of chopping it by hand.
In short, this chicken burger is a practical and tasty recipe that the whole family will love, perfect for a casual meal or a weekday dinner.

Directions
-
1
We group all the ingredients together.
-
2
Chop the chicken meat and throw it into a bowl. We do the same with the lace. We mix well.
-
3
Add the beaten egg and the crumbled slice of sliced bread. We add a splash of milk, just enough to make it easier for us to mix everything. With the help of a spatula we mix all the ingredients.
-
4
Add the garlic powder, chopped parsley, salt and black pepper (the latter to taste) and mix well until everything is integrated. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes in the fridge.

Once our dough has rested, we take portions of it, make a ball with our hands and then flatten it to give it the shape of a hamburger. When we have our hamburgers ready, we put a pan on the fire with a generous splash of oil and when it is hot we add the hamburgers and cook them on medium-high heat for a couple of minutes on each side or until they are to our liking.
-
6
If you want to put cheese on it, simply when our hamburgers are done on one side, we turn them over, cover with the cheese slices, cover and let it cook over medium heat 3-4 minutes for the cheese to melt.
