  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional for spice)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, paprika, garam masala, turmeric powder, and chili powder (if desired) to make the marinade.

  • Add chicken pieces to the marinade, coating them well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  • Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown.

  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan, stirring for about 1 minute.

  • Add the marinated chicken to the pan, stirring occasionally until the chicken is browned.

  • Pour in the diced tomatoes with their juice, mixing well. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt to taste. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Step 8
