Ingredients

  • 4-5 chicken trout
  • 1/2 red bell pepper in cubes
  • 1 onion cut into a feather
  • 2 cups green peas
  • 1 cube chicken stock dissolved in 1 bowl of hot water
  • 2 sliced carrots
  • A pinch of salt
  • Aceite
  • Merkén to taste (optional)
  • 2 minced garlic cloves

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Fry the chicken trout in a saucepan over medium heat with 3 tablespoons of oil for 5 minutes, turning them in half the time.
  • Step 2
  • In this step you can add an optional pinch of paprika paprika.
  • Step 3
  • Reserve the trout separately.
  • Step 4
  • In the same pan where the chicken was browned, add the onion and sauté while stirring for five minutes or until the onion changes color (more golden)
  • Step 5
  • Add carrots and garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes while stirring.
  • Step 6
  • Add the chicken back to the pan, add the broth and peas.
  • Step 7
  • You can add salt and a little bit of merkén to taste.
  • Step 8
  • Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
  • Step 9
  • Serve with white or brown rice, puree, etc.
