Roll out the puff pastry and place in the center a layer of slices of sausage, another of cheese and on top of another of sausage.

Carefully make a few cuts in the dough.

We first fold the ends so that it stays closed and place the pieces of excess dough on top of the filling. Then we intertwine the strips on the sides, placing one on each side at a time.

When we have the braid mounted, we spread it with beaten egg.

Repeat the same steps for the cooked ham and cheese braid.

Place the braids in the baking tray on parchment paper and bake at 200° until the puff pastry is golden brown.
