  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Baguette, sliced for serving

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Rinse the snails thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or debris.
  • Step 2
  • Place the snails in a large pot of boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Remove the snails from the pot and use a toothpick to pick them out from their shells.
  • Step 4
  • In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.

  • Stir the butter mixture until well combined and creamy.
  • Step 6
  • Place a small amount of the garlic butter mixture into each snail shell.
  • Step 7
  • Return the snails to their shells, pressing them gently into the butter mixture.

  • Arrange the filled snail shells on a baking sheet.

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Bake the escargot for 10-12 minutes, or until the butter is bubbling and the snails are heated through.
