  • 200 g firm tofu
  • 80 g white rice
  • Thyme
  • Basil
  • Parsley
  • Dill
  • Cilandro

  • 1 tablespoon and a half of extra virgin olive oil

Instructions:

    Step 1
  • Drain the tofu. We wrap it in absorbent paper and squeeze it lightly with our hands so that the water drains out. Cut the tofu into slices, season on both sides with oil, salt and pepper and set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Wash and chop a sprig of thyme, coriander, parsley, dill and cilantro in a mortar.
  • Step 3
  • To smoke the tofu, take a pan and cover the surface with aluminum foil, add the white rice and the fine herbs that we prepared earlier. Let these ingredients cook over low heat.
  • Step 4
  • When we see that smoke starts to come out, we will place a rack on top of the pan and put the tofu sheets on it so that they can smoke. Let the tofu cook in this way for about 15 minutes over low heat covered, and when it has changed color slightly on both sides it will be ready. Serve for salads or cold dishes. Enjoy it!!!
