Recipe of Carbonara pasta with sobrasada

Carbonara is one of the most beloved dishes in Italian cuisine, and this version with sobrasada gives it an irresistible Mediterranean twist. If you're looking for an easy and quick recipe to impress, this creamy and slightly spicy pasta is perfect. Sobrasada, a Majorcan cured sausage, melts with the egg yolks and Parmesan to create a silky sauce that coats every strand of spaghetti.

Why does this combination work?

Sobrasada adds a deep, spiced flavor that contrasts with the smoothness of traditional carbonara. The result is a comforting dish, ideal for a special dinner or a treat. Plus, it's very versatile: you can adjust the amount of sobrasada to your taste or even add a touch of chili if you dare.

Tips for a perfect carbonara

  • Use quality pasta and cook it al dente.
  • Mix the ingredients off the heat to prevent the egg from scrambling.
  • Reserve some cooking water to adjust the creaminess of the sauce.

This recipe is ideal for those who want to innovate without complicating things. In a few minutes you'll have a dish worthy of a restaurant.
