In a mixing bowl, combine the groundnut powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, ginger powder, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and salt. Mix well to create the Suya spice rub.

Thread the thinly sliced meat onto the wooden skewers. Be sure to coat each piece generously with the Suya spice rub. Allow the skewered meat to marinate for at least 15 minutes, or longer for enhanced flavor.
