How to use an espresso pot

Always

cook with the lid, properly closed, and the valve on.


Take care not to exceed ¾ of the contents of your pot. This way you're leaving space for pressure to build up safely and be released gradually.


Once the pot starts to ring and the valve to turn, reduce the flame to a minimum and let it cook for the appropriate amount of time.
