How to Make Onion rings
Instructions
- Peel the onion, cut it and separate it into rings,
- Let the rings soak in water for about 30 minutes.
- Mix the flour with the milk and salt and add the yolk of an egg, whisk until a thick sauce is left.
- Drain the onion rings and dry them with kitchen paper. Pass them through the mixture and fry them in plenty of very hot oil.
- When they are golden, take them out and let the excess oil drain on absorbent paper before serving.
- Serve with a sauce of your choice, ketchup, mustard or BBQ and a cold beer.
