- Wash the peas and let them soak in a deep well with cold water the night before preparation. If you forget this step (just like me) let them soak with boiling water for 1 or 2 hours before cooking them.
- In a pot with oil, sauté the finely chopped onion, garlic and chopped paprika until the onion is semi-transparent.
- Add the ground beef and stir over medium heat until cooked, then add the sausage and stir until it releases its juice.
- Add the tomato, diced in small cubes, until the flavors are well integrated.
