Instructions:
Step 1
Whisk the egg whites until stiff. While preparing a hair syrup with sugar moistened with a little water. When the syrup is ready, add to the egg whites that continue to beat until it cools.
Step 2
Add the yolks one by one and the vanilla essence. Keep beating.
Step 3
Add the pre-sifted flour and cornstarch with wrapping movements. Mix until you see a smooth shake.
Step 4
Pour into a pre-oiled 24 cm mold with baking paper on the bottom.
Step 5
Bake at 180°C for 20 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool and unmold.
Step 6
When it's cold, cut into three discs and fill with whatever you want. In my case, Benji ordered it with delicacy and Chantilly cream with canned peaches.
Step 7
I also soak the discs with a mixture of preserve syrup and rum essence.
Step 8
Then I refrigerate, preferably from one day to the next before decorating.
Step 9
To decorate, I covered it with white whipped cream on top and put the sugar sheet with the image of Spiderman. I covered the sides with red and blue chantilly.
