Recipe of Easy snacks for Christmas.
Are you looking for easy snacks for Christmas that will impress your guests without complicating your life? These puff pastry squares with filling are the perfect solution: crispy, versatile, and ready in no time. This recipe for easy Christmas snacks uses only a few ingredients you probably already have at home, such as puff pastry sheets, tuna, tomato sauce, oregano, and grated cheese.
The key lies in its simplicity: we roll out the puff pastry, spread it with tomato sauce, sprinkle with oregano, and add the filling of your choice. In this case, we made two versions: one with tuna and one with just cheese, so each guest can pick their favorite. Then, we cover with another layer of pastry, cut into small squares, and bake until golden and crispy.
These bites are ideal as a starter at a Christmas dinner, for snacking while waiting for the main course, or even as part of an appetizer table. Their small size makes them perfect for sharing, and their preparation is so quick that you'll have more time to enjoy with your loved ones. If you're looking for inspiration for your Christmas appetizers, this recipe will become your go-to.
Tips to customize your snacks
- You can substitute the tuna with ham, bacon, or even roasted vegetables.
- For a more festive touch, add a pinch of nutmeg or paprika to the filling.
