How to Make Lumpia
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Add ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
- Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Mix well.
- Add the julienned vegetables and bean sprouts. Cook for a few minutes until they are slightly wilted but still crisp.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
- Take a lumpia wrapper and place it on a flat surface. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the filling onto the wrapper.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll it up tightly, sealing the edge with a little water.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan. Fry lumpia until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
