How to Make Crab salad

    Step 1
  • In a pot, add plenty of water, a pinch of salt, and heat it up. When it starts to boil, add the carrots, and the potato, clean but with its skin. Let everything cook for 30 minutes, until the potato is fully cooked. To check it, you can prick it with a knife and if it penetrates gently to the center, it will be ready. When we're done, we drain it of water and let it cool down.
  • Step 2
  • In a large bowl, place the peeled potato, the carrot and the boiled eggs without their shell, all cut into small cubes. We also add the pineapple, onion and crab sticks, all finely chopped. Mix the ingredients well and set it aside.
  • Step 3
  • In another bowl, put the mayonnaise, together with the tomato sauce, brandy and paprika. Mix well until you get a uniform sauce, which will have a pinkish color. If you want, instead of tomato sauce, you can use ketchup.
  • Step 4
  • Now we are going to pour the sauce over the rest of the salad and mix everything to integrate all the ingredients. Once the mixture is uniform, let it cool before serving. You can garnish the crab salad with some chopped parsley, if you like.
