For a romantic summer day a divine lunch, today I teach you how to prepare a delicious and pleasant Gà Kho Gùng (Ginger Chicken).

How to Make Gà Kho Gùng (Gingerbread Chicken)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into pieces and wash and dry them well.
- In my case, I have directly used chicken breast and cut it into strips of more or less one bite, but you can use any part of the chicken.
- Peel the ginger and cut it into thin strips or small pieces lengthwise to avoid discomfort with the threads.
- Cut the half onion and garlic very finely.
- In a deep bowl, place the pieces of chopped chicken to which we will add the finely chopped onion and garlic together with the teaspoon of chicken broth, a tablespoon of sugar, the 3 tablespoons of fish sauce, the strips of ginger and a little freshly ground pepper.
- We will leave the meat to marinate for 2 to 3 hours in the refrigerator so that it absorbs the combination of flavors as much as possible.
- When the broth starts to boil, lower the heat to a medium low level and let it cook (approx. 30 min) so that the sauce reduces until it reaches approximately one third of the initial level.
- When serving, combine with fragrant white rice and a little coriander or scallion on top for a green touch.
