How to Make Cornstarch Alfajores stuffed with delicacy

    Step 1
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, icing sugar and a pinch of salt, mix well.
  • Step 2
  • Then make a hole in the center and put the semi-melted butter, eggs, yolks, vanilla essence and mix well until you form a dough that doesn't stick (be careful not to knead just put it together).
  • Step 3
  • In the refrigerator for 10 minutes and the dough is ready. Sprinkle the table with flour and roll out the dough approximately 1/2 cm. Or less, cut into circles, my circles are 2.5 cm wide.
  • Step 4
  • Cook for 8 minutes at 190° and that's it, the tapas for the cornstarch alfajores are ready.
  • Step 5
  • Wait for them to cool and fill with delicacy, you can garnish with grated coconut or dip them in white or dark chocolate. I didn't have anything to garnish but they're still delicious.
