How to Make Dobladitas
Instructions
- Add the dry ingredients, flour, baking powder and powdered milk.
- Add the butter and mix it with your fingers until they are fully integrated.
- Pour in half the egg, with the salt and little by little the water. With the help of your hands, you incorporate them until you get a dough.
- Sprinkle a layer of flour on the counter, turn the dough over and start kneading for about 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 8 small balls.
- Stretch them, with a kitchen stick, as thin as you can.
- With the help of a plate, cut a circumference.
- Paint half the circumference with butter and fold the circle in half. Repeat this process again and fold again. You should now have a triangle.
- Once you have all 8 folds, place them on a tray, for the oven, with parchment paper.
- Paint them with the other half of the egg you had left.
- Puncture them with a fork.
- Bake them at 190º for 35 minutes.
