How to Make Choco German
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk. Begin and end with dry ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the batter.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for approximately 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
