  • Preheat your oven to the broil setting.

  • In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the scallops and cook them for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until they are lightly browned. Remove them from the skillet and set them aside.

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Sauté the chopped garlic and parsley for about 1 minute.

  • Sprinkle the flour over the garlic and parsley mixture. Mix well and let it cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

  • Pour the dry white wine and heavy cream into the skillet. Stir constantly until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
