How to Make Chicken with mushrooms and cream
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the onion in brunoise (it is a type of onion cut), the crushed garlic, the vinegar, the Worcestershire sauce and the thyme, season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the chicken breasts and set aside covered for 30 minutes.
- The oven is preheated to 400°F (200°C).
- The mushrooms are thoroughly cleaned and cut into slices.
- In a pan, place 2 tablespoons of butter, when it is melted, add the mushrooms and sauté until the liquid that is generated evaporates, removed from the heat and set aside.
- In a cauldron, place 2 tablespoons of oil and 3 tablespoons of butter, add the onions cut into rings and cook until golden brown; remove the onions and leave the oil in the cauldron.
- Add the garlic by cooking it until golden brown; add the remaining condiment in the chicken and bring it to a boil.
- In a glass baking tray, place the breasts and add the previous one, the onion, the chives, the parsley, the lemon juice and the peppercorns.
- The tray is covered with aluminum foil (the shiny part facing inside), baked for 30 minutes. Then the breasts are turned over and baked for 20 minutes.
- The tray is taken out of the oven and the breasts are placed on the serving plate, the sauce that remains on the tray is transferred to a pot, then the excess fat is removed and brought to a boil, put on low heat and add the heavy cream, cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add the sauce to the breasts.
