How to Make Pajaritos (sweet breads)

Instructions

    Step 1
  • Dissolve the yeast in milk and with half a teaspoon of sugar

  • Add flour with the orange zest and the rest of the sugar
  • Step 3
  • Whisk the eggs and add them to the flour
  • Step 4
  • Melt the margarine and add it to the previous dough and add the yeast
  • Step 5
  • Add all the dough (all the ingredients) if it were necessary to add a little water, it should be a soft dough
  • Step 6
  • Store the dough in a bag and let it rest for 30 minutes, tightly covered so that no air enters it, then take it out and form balls, brush with a little egg yolk and bake for 30 minutes in a high oven
  • Step 7
  • For the meringue 1 egg white and 1/2 cup of sugar, put the egg white with sugar in a water bath, dissolve until the sugar has no lumps, remove from the water bath and beat until snow forms, you can decorate it with colored beads.
  • Step 8
  • Ready to eat!!!
