How to Make Duo meringue milk custard
Instructions
- First, put the milk, the lemon rinds (without the white) and the cinnamon stick in a saucepan with the teaspoon of vanilla essence.
- We take everything to the fire and stir well until it is infused.
- When the milk is warm, add the sugar and stir well until it is dissolved but without letting it boil.
- When we see it wants to start boiling, we remove it from the heat and cover it so that everything is infused well and takes on all the flavors.
- After about 15-20 minutes, we strain it to remove the cinnamon and lemon rinds and add “the 4 teaspoons of cornstarch and bring it to the fire so that it thickens to our liking.
- For custard it shouldn't be too thick.
- Once we have achieved our desired thickness, we spread half of our meringue milk (custard) in half and in one of them we add our cocoa and stir well.
- We put our container where we are going to take them tilted with a spoon and put our cream with cocoa and take it to the refrigerator (minimum 15 minutes) and it will be curdled.
- The other half of our custard, let it cool down at reserved room temperature.
- After time, our cocoa custard is curdled and we put on top of it our reserved meringue milk custard. We put a María cookie on it and it will be ready to EAT
- You can also put it in the fridge and drink it colder
