How to Make Milcao solito (suitable for vegetarians and vegans)
Instructions
- 2 kg of potatoes are peeled, chopped and cooked by adding 1 tablespoon of salt.
- It is then ground as if making a puree.
- Then the other 2 kg of potatoes are peeled and chopped to be placed little by little in the juicer (originally the potato is grated, but this version is faster).
- It can help to liquefy the potato with a little water, when ready it goes through a sieve (I used a pillowcase thanks to Bianka Palma's information) I always ran into that part in the recipes.
- When you squeeze the blended raw potatoes, they will look like a dough.
- The cooked and raw potatoes are then mixed together to make the dough.
- And having that ready, the melted butter is added little by little.
- When it is homogenous, balls are made and crushed with care, not too thin, they have to be about 1 cm wide.
- Finally, they fry and share these delights.
