How to Make Xiaolongbao
Instructions
- Combine flour, cold water, and hot water. Knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let rest for 30 mins.
- Mix ground pork with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and white pepper.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut it into small pieces. Roll each into a thin wrapper.
- Place a spoonful of filling in each wrapper. Seal and pleat to form dumplings.
- Place dumplings in a steamer lined with cabbage leaves. Steam for 20 mins.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce made from soy sauce and broth. Enjoy your Xiaolongbao!
