How to Make Meat Pie
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- 2. In a large bowl, mix the flour and butter until fine crumbs form.
- 3. Add the cold water and mix until a smooth dough forms.
- 4. Roll out the dough and line a pie dish.
- 5. In a large frying pan, sauté the onion and garlic until golden.
- 6. Add the minced meat and cook until browned.
- 7. Add the Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- 8. Pour the meat mixture into the pie dish.
- 9. Cover with another layer of dough and seal the edges.
- 10. Brush with beaten egg.
- 11. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden.
