How to Make Vegetable cake (use).
Instructions
- Clean the leeks by cutting off the ends, leaving some green. Make a longitudinal cut and remove the first layer. Wash well under the faucet. Cut them lengthwise and chop.
- Remove the ends of the courgettes and wash them very well under the tap, since we are going to use them with the skin. Cut lengthwise and chop.
- Peel the carrots and chop them.
- Put the oil in a pan and fry all the vegetables with a pinch of salt until soft and set aside.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl and add the cream and mix until it blends.
- Season with pepper, nutmeg and a little salt.
- Add the sautéed vegetables to the bowl, draining the oil well and leaving it in the pan, and the tacos of Serrano ham. Mix so that everything is well distributed.
- Pour into a mold pre-greased with butter. I used a deep, rectangular mold measuring 31 by 12 cm.
- Bake at 200º with the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until it has set.
