How to Make Spinach tortilla
Instructions
- Roast the onions in 20 gr. of margarine or vegetable oil until golden brown.
- Add the spinach and let it simmer for 15 minutes, then cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add the salt.
- Season the spinach with freshly grated pepper and grated nutmeg.
- Whisk the eggs with the water and salt.
- Heat the remaining half of the margarine or oil and pour half of the egg mass into it until it cools: it will take on a light brown color on the bottom and it will be dry on the top.
- Carefully slide the tortilla onto a pre-heated plate.
- Put half of the spinach on it, close it and keep it warm.
- Proceed in the same way with the second tortilla.
- Serve them immediately. Instead of spinach, you can fill the tortilla with asparagus.
