How to Make Croissant pudding
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a small pot, place ¾ cup of sugar with 1 tablespoon of water and bring to medium low heat until it forms a caramel. It is important not to stir with a spoon.
- Empty the candy into a medium mold, and spread it all over the base and part of the walls of the mold.
- Cut the croissants into small pieces and place them on top of the caramel.
- Mix the milk with the eggs in a bowl with the help of a balloon whisk.
- Add the cinnamon, vanilla, lemon zest and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the mixture onto the pieces of croissants, stir gently to soak each piece and place in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Once baked, unmold lukewarm and refrigerate.
