- 1. Peel and clean the shrimp, leaving the tail intact. Cut the peppers into thin strips, the onion into rings, and the carrot into thin sticks.
- 2. In a bowl, combine the tempura flour, egg, and cold water. Beat until a homogeneous batter forms.
- 3. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- 4. Dip the shrimp and vegetables in the tempura batter, making sure they are completely covered.
- 5. Fry the shrimp and vegetables in the hot oil for 4-5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- 6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 7. Serve hot, accompanied by soy sauce and ginger.
