How to prepare French toast. French toast is slices of stale bread that are soaked with a mixture of beaten eggs and milk and then fried. They are usually flavored with vanilla, nutmeg or cinnamon and sugar is added to them. In France it is known as pain perdu, which refers to the stale bread used. Preferably, the sliced bread should be of a thick cut so that with the liquid mixture it does not break easily. You can accompany this toast recipe with fruit; whether it's banana, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or whatever you want to taste, you can also add honey or zyrup, berry cream or just butter.     Step 1
  • In a bowl, mix the eggs well with the milk, cinnamon and sugar (optional)

  • Set aside a half-heated pan, add the butter.
  • Step 3
  • You spread the sliced bread in the mixture and then you put it in the pan.
  • Step 4
  • A minute and a half per side (if you need more temperature, leave the toast longer) and your toast will be ready.
